Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Barnsley
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time / Part-time available

GSL Education is on the hunt for Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Barnsley. If you’re confident, adaptable, and enjoy keeping students engaged, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain classroom experience and work with a variety of age groups and subjects.
What you’ll do:

Take charge of classes when teachers are absent

Deliver lesson plans and keep students focused

Maintain classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment

Support pupils with questions and tasks

Feed back to teaching staff at the end of the day
Who we’re looking for:

Experience working with young people (school, youth work, or similar)

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

Professional, confident, and flexible

Comfortable working across different subjects and year groups
-
Enhanced DBS registered (or willing to apply)
