Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time

Are you a creative and inspiring Drama Teacher with a passion for nurturing confidence, self-expression, and performance skills in young people?

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to work in supportive secondary schools across Sheffield (S2, S3), with immediate start opportunities available.

As a Drama Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, helping students develop performance techniques, communication skills, and artistic confidence in a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Support students in developing acting, improvisation, and performance skills.
• Encourage creativity, teamwork, and self-expression.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain positive behaviour management in line with school policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues on productions, performances, and enrichment activities.

Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Drama and Performing Arts.
• Experience teaching Drama in secondary schools is desirable.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
