Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time

Are you a passionate and creative Art Teacher looking to inspire students through visual arts?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Art Teacher to work in supportive secondary schools across Sheffield (S2, S3), with immediate start opportunities available.

As an Art Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to explore a range of artistic techniques and media. You will support learners in developing confidence, creativity, and a strong understanding of visual arts.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Encourage creativity, imagination, and independent artistic expression.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Support students of varying abilities and learning styles.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the art curriculum.

Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design.
• Previous experience teaching Art in secondary schools is desirable.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
