Job Title: Design Technology Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a creative and skilled Design Technology Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Sheffield?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Design Technology Teacher to work in supportive secondary schools across Sheffield (S2, S3), with immediate starts available on a flexible basis.
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons that encourage creativity, design thinking, and technical competence. You will support students in developing hands-on skills while maintaining a safe and well-managed workshop environment.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Teach practical and theory-based lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Promote safe working practices within workshops and classrooms.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain positive behaviour and a productive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Design Technology.
• Experience teaching Design Technology in secondary schools is desirable.
• Good classroom and workshop management skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
