Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are inviting a skilled Maths Teacher to join schools in the Barnsley area, serving communities across the S70 and S71 districts, to deliver engaging lessons that strengthen students’ numeracy, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will support pupils in building confidence with mathematical concepts, applying their knowledge in practical ways, and achieving their academic potential.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured and engaging maths lessons.
  • Support students in developing problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
  • Provide feedback and track pupil progress effectively.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or another recognised teaching credential.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach confidently as a Maths Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
