Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate Behaviour Support/Mentor to join schools in the Dinnington community, located within the S25 district, supporting pupils to build emotional resilience, positive behaviour, and stronger engagement with learning.

As a Behaviour Support/Mentor, you will work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to provide targeted support, build trusting relationships, and help learners manage behaviour effectively within the school environment.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group behavioural support.
  • Help pupils develop coping strategies and positive behaviour patterns.
  • Support the implementation of behaviour management plans.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as Behaviour Support/Mentor or in a similar pastoral role.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
