Behaviour Support Staff
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are looking for compassionate and reliable Behaviour Support Staff to support students with behavioural, social, and emotional needs for schools in Sheffield (S5, S9). This Behaviour Support Staff role is perfect for someone who is patient, consistent, and committed to creating positive outcomes for learners.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support students in managing behaviour positively
  • Assist with emotional, social, and behavioural interventions
  • Encourage engagement and participation in lessons
  • Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and external professionals
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records

Who We’re Looking for in a Behaviour Support Staff:

  • Experience working with children or young people (desirable)
  • Calm, professional, and consistent approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to implement behaviour strategies effectively
  • Reliable, adaptable, and student-focused
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
