Qualified Humanities Teacher – Secondary School (Manchester)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Humanities Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Manchester on a full-time, long-term basis. 

This role is ideal for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging and high-quality Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4.

The Role:

  • Teaching Humanities, with a specialism in History and/or Geography

  • Planning and delivering creative, inclusive lessons that inspire students

  • Assessing, tracking, and supporting student progress

  • Contributing positively to the wider school community

  • Full-time, long-term position with the potential for extension

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • PGCE (or equivalent) in Humanities, History, or Geography

  • Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply)

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
