Tutor
Location: Hartlepool
Salary: £130 – £160 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Tutor to support pupils in Hartlepool. This role is ideal for experienced tutors or teachers who are passionate about helping learners build confidence and make academic progress through targeted support.
The Role of the Tutor:

Deliver tailored tutoring sessions on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.

Support pupils across core subjects (English, Maths, or Science – depending on specialism).

Plan personalised learning programmes to raise attainment.

Build positive relationships with pupils and families.

Monitor and record progress, adapting sessions as needed.

Support learners with additional or SEMH needs where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate to be a Tutor:

Previous tutoring or teaching experience.

Strong subject knowledge in at least one core subject.

Patient, adaptable, and engaging approach to learning.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
