Location: Filey
Salary: £93 – £110 per day
Contract: Full-Time / Supply
Start Date: January 2026
GSL Education are recruiting a confident Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools across the Filey area, supporting continuity of learning during teacher absence.

Schools in this area value consistency, positive behaviour management and strong relationships. Cover Supervisors play a key role in maintaining structure and engagement across lessons.
Cover Supervisor Responsibilities

Supervise classes using pre-set work

Manage classroom behaviour effectively

Support pupils with tasks and routines

Liaise with teaching and pastoral teams

Ensure a safe and focused learning environment
Requirements

Experience working with young people

Confident classroom presence

Strong communication skills

Ability to follow school policies

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
