About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across the science curriculum, supporting student progress, and creating an engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning and achievement.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Inspire students to develop an interest in scientific enquiry and experimentation.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge across the science curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
