Job Title: English Teacher

Location: Sheffield (S5)
Salary: Up to £220 Per day
Contract Type: Full time, Jan – Easter
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons across key stages, inspiring students to develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills. You will contribute to a positive classroom environment and support students in reaching their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
  • Support students with varying abilities and learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant UK teaching experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge in English language and literature.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students of different abilities.
  • A committed and professional approach to teaching.
