1:1 Teaching Assistant – Support Students in Dinnington (S25)
Location: Dinnington – S25
Salary: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a committed and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a friendly and supportive school in Dinnington (S25). About the Role:

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work directly with a specific student, offering personalised support to help them stay engaged, confident, and fully included in the classroom. Your guidance will contribute to creating a nurturing, safe, and inspiring learning experience.

Key Responsibilities of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide dedicated one-to-one support to a student with additional needs
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and reinforcing key learning objectives
  • Help maintain positive behaviour and a safe, structured classroom environment
  • Motivate students and encourage active participation
  • Adapt learning strategies to meet the pupil’s individual needs

Requirements for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and adapt to varying needs
  • A caring, proactive, and patient approach to supporting students
