Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Sports Coach, you will plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons and extra-curricular activities that encourage participation, fitness, and enjoyment. You will help students develop physical skills, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sport, while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and lead engaging PE lessons and extra-curricular sports activities.
  • Encourage students to participate, develop skills, and build confidence in physical activities.
  • Promote teamwork, fair play, and a positive attitude towards sport and fitness.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate physical activity into school programs.
  • Maintain records of participation, progress, and achievement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience leading sports or physical education sessions with children or young people.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and motivational skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and safeguarding in school settings.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
  • Passionate, approachable, and committed to promoting physical activity and well-being.
