Salary: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking caring, committed, and proactive individuals to join a supportive school community in Sheffield (S5, S9) as a Pastoral Lead. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ welfare, personal development, and overall school experience.
Your Role as Pastoral Lead:
- Provide pastoral guidance and emotional support to students across the school.
- Build trusting relationships to help young people overcome barriers to learning.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, safeguarding teams, and senior leaders to promote positive wellbeing.
- Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs through targeted interventions.
- Help uphold a respectful, safe, and inclusive school environment.
What You’ll Need as a Pastoral Lead:
- Experience working with young people in a school, youth work, or similar environment.
- Strong communication, empathy, and relationship‑building skills.
- A calm, patient, and supportive approach to managing challenging situations.
- Good organisational abilities and confidence working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential).
