SEN Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a committed Special Educational Needs Teacher who can deliver personalised learning and create supportive, structured environments for students with Special Educational Needs across schools in Sheffield (S2, S3). This SEN Teacher role suits someone who values adaptability, patience, and meaningful progress over rigid teaching methods.

Where You’ll Make the Difference:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of SEN profiles
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and families
  • Track progress and contribute to individual support plans
  • Create a calm, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment

The Approach We’re Looking for from a SEN Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching or supporting SEN learners
  • Flexible, reflective, and solution-focused teaching style
  • Strong classroom management rooted in consistency and care
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
