Pastoral Manager
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking experienced and compassionate Pastoral Managers to lead student wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development initiatives for schools across Sheffield (S2, S3). This role plays a vital part in shaping a positive school culture and ensuring students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, relationship-building, and making meaningful changes.
Your Impact as a Pastoral Manager Across the School:
- Take a lead role in pastoral care, wellbeing, and student support
- Identify and respond to behavioural, emotional, and attendance concerns
- Manage and oversee interventions, mentoring programmes, and support plans
- Act as a key point of contact for students, families, and external agencies
- Work closely with senior leaders and teaching staff to promote positive behaviour
- Monitor progress and contribute to safeguarding and wellbeing strategies
The Experience You Bring as a Pastoral Manager:
- Background in pastoral care, mentoring, or student support roles
- Confident decision-making and calm leadership style
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
- Organised, proactive, and student-centred approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare as a Pastoral Manager
