1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to provide focused, personalised support to a student who needs encouragement, structure, and understanding to succeed for schools in Sheffield (S2, S3).
This role suits someone who values relationship-building just as much as academic progress.
Your Day as a 1:1 TA Will Involve:
- Supporting a single student throughout the school day
- Breaking down learning tasks to build understanding and confidence
- Offering emotional reassurance and positive reinforcement
- Helping the student stay engaged, calm, and focused
- Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to adapt support strategies

- Experience working with children or young people (schools, care, or support settings)
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to respond positively to behavioural or emotional needs
- Professional, reliable, and consistent
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
