Behaviour Support Staff
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking dedicated Behaviour Support Staff across Sheffield (S2, S3) to help students overcome behavioural challenges and remain engaged in learning. This role is ideal for individuals who are patient, resilient, and committed to making a positive difference in young people’s lives.
How You’ll Make an Impact as a Behaviour Support Staff:
- Support students with behavioural, emotional, and social needs
- Work alongside teachers and pastoral teams to manage behaviour positively
- Implement behaviour plans and intervention strategies
- Mentor students and help them develop self-regulation skills
- Promote positive relationships and a supportive school culture
- Monitor progress and communicate effectively with staff
The Qualities We’re Looking For in a Behaviour Support Staff:
- Experience working with children or young people (desirable)
- Calm, confident, and consistent approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour professionally
- Reliable, adaptable, and student-focused
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
