Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are appointing an English Teacher to support schools in Sheffield, particularly in the S2 and S3 areas, delivering engaging lessons and fostering a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.
As an English Teacher, you will help pupils build literacy skills, communication confidence, and a love of diverse texts, while fostering an inclusive classroom where every student can express ideas and reach their potential.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured and engaging English lessons.
- Support students in developing reading, writing, and analytical skills.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum goals.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Confident subject knowledge and the ability to perform effectively as an English Teacher.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
