Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a Sports Coach to support schools in Sheffield, particularly within S2 and S3, helping pupils develop physically, build confidence, and stay engaged through structured sports sessions.
As a Sports Coach, you will deliver engaging programmes that promote fitness, teamwork, and positive behaviour, while encouraging students to develop healthy lifestyles and a love for sport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver inclusive sports and physical activity sessions.
- Encourage teamwork, discipline, and positive attitudes towards physical education.
- Support pupils of varying abilities to participate and progress.
- Maintain a safe, well-managed, and energetic environment.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to support wider learning goals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Sports Coach or in a similar role with children or young people.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive and motivating approach to pupil engagement.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
