Job Title: Sports Coaches
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are connecting experienced Sports Coaches with schools across Wakefield, focusing on the WF4 area, to deliver engaging sessions that build participation, confidence, and physical development.
As a Sports Coach, you will lead activities, support learners of all abilities, and create a positive and inclusive environment that fosters enthusiasm for sport.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver fun, structured sports sessions.
- Support pupils in developing fitness, coordination, and teamwork skills.
- Promote positive behaviour and active participation.
- Assess progress and provide feedback to pupils and staff.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to enhance PE and extracurricular opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience delivering sports activities to children or young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Sports Coach.
- Ability to motivate learners and adapt sessions for varying abilities.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and student welfare.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
