Job Title: Physical Education (PE) Support
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are appointing a PE Support professional to assist schools across Wakefield, particularly within the WF4 locality, helping deliver engaging sessions and supporting pupils in achieving their potential in physical education.

As Physical Education (PE) Support, you will help create a positive and inclusive environment, assist in delivering activities, and encourage participation, teamwork, and skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and delivering PE lessons and activities.
  • Support learners in developing fitness, coordination, and teamwork skills.
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement in all sessions.
  • Provide feedback on progress and support individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to enhance PE provision.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in an educational or sports setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills as PE Support.
  • Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities.
  • Awareness of safeguarding and student wellbeing.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
