About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes, following lesson plans, and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment. You will ensure learning continues smoothly in the absence of teaching staff and support students in achieving their potential.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes according to set lesson plans.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Support students’ engagement and ensure tasks are completed effectively.
- Follow school policies and procedures to ensure safety and consistency.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour.
- Adapt to different classes and subjects as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage behaviour effectively and maintain a structured classroom.
- Flexible, adaptable, and confident in engaging students across key stages.
- A proactive, patient, and professional approach to supporting learning.
