About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering lessons, work closely with individual students or small groups, and help create a positive learning environment. This role is key to ensuring that all students can access the curriculum and develop both academically and personally.

Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Work one-to-one or with small groups to help students access learning.
  • Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive environment.
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and activities.
  • Implement individual learning strategies and interventions as required.
  • Encourage student independence, confidence, and participation in activities.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role is preferred.
  • Understanding of SEN, SEMH, or related support strategies is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of students.
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting learners’ development.
