Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are collaborating with schools across Rotherham, particularly within the areas of S65 and S66, to place a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Geography Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and spark curiosity about both physical and human geography.
As a Geography Teacher, you will help learners develop analytical skills, geographical awareness, and an understanding of environmental and societal challenges, while fostering enquiry, discussion, and real‑world connections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver structured and engaging geography lessons.
- Develop students’ map skills, data interpretation, and critical thinking.
- Maintain positive behaviour and an inclusive learning environment.
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning.
Requirements:
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or another accredited teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence working as a Geography Teacher.
- Effective classroom management and communication skills.
- Strong focus on safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
