English Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay: Up to £220 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking an English Teacher who can bring texts to life, inspire discussion, and help students develop skills that last a lifetime for schools in Rotherham (S65, S66).

This role is perfect for a creative English Teacher who enjoys making literature and language relevant, interactive, and exciting for students of all abilities.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in reading, writing, speaking, and listening
  • Encourage analysis, interpretation, and debate through literature
  • Support students in developing confidence in communication and creative expression
  • Maintain a structured, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to track progress and support learning outcomes

Who We’re Looking for in an English Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching English is desirable
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Ability to inspire curiosity and independent thinking
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and student-focused approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
