Location: Sheffield (S35)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

Physical Education is about more than sport — it’s about confidence, teamwork, and wellbeing. Schools in Sheffield (S35), along with GSL Education are looking for a PE Teacher who can create engaging lessons, encourage participation, and promote healthy lifestyles for students of all abilities.

This role suits a PE Teacher who brings energy, structure, and encouragement to every lesson.

Key Duties of a PE Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports and activities
  • Encourage teamwork, resilience, and positive attitudes towards fitness
  • Support inclusive participation for students of all abilities
  • Maintain safe practice and clear behaviour expectations
  • Promote physical wellbeing and healthy lifestyles
  • Work closely with colleagues to support student development

PE Teachers must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching PE or leading sports activities
  • Confident classroom and outdoor management skills
  • Enthusiastic, motivating, and approachable teaching style
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
