Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are welcoming an Art Teacher to join schools in Rotherham, serving learners across the S65 and S66 postcodes, supporting engaging and imaginative learning experiences that encourage self‑expression, confidence, and artistic development.

As an Art Teacher, you will plan and deliver stimulating lessons, nurture creative skills, and create a supportive environment where students feel confident exploring different techniques and styles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across a range of artistic methods and materials.
  • Encourage creativity, experimentation, and individual expression.
  • Support learners in developing technical and observational skills.
  • Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Maintain an organised and inclusive learning space.

Requirements for Art Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to work effectively as an Art Teacher.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
