Teaching Assistant
Location: Middlesbrough, North East
Salary: £85 – £110 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools in Middlesbrough. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and making a positive contribution in the classroom.
The Role:

Support class teachers with lesson delivery and daily classroom activities.

Provide 1:1 and small group support to help pupils make progress.

Assist with behaviour management and promote a positive learning environment.

Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN, where required.

Help prepare learning resources and support planned activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable).

Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable).

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A positive, patient, and proactive approach.

A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
