About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for classrooms in the absence of teachers, ensuring that lessons are delivered effectively and students remain on task. You will support learning across various subjects while maintaining behaviour management and promoting a positive school culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absence, following lesson plans and school procedures.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
  • Support students’ engagement and learning across a range of subjects.
  • Monitor student behaviour and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required, including attendance and records.
  • Adapt quickly to the needs of different classes and age groups.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a school or classroom setting is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage behaviour and maintain a structured classroom environment.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work across different subjects and year groups.
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to supporting students’ success.
