Midday Supervisor – Lunchtime Support 

Supporting Young People Aged 16–25 with PMLD, Complex Needs & SEMH

We are looking for a caring, calm and reliable Midday Supervisor to support our learners during lunchtime in a farm-based, outdoor and alternative learning environment.

This role is vital in helping young people feel safe, supported and regulated during mealtimes and unstructured parts of the day.


About the Role

As a Midday Supervisor, you will support learners during lunch by:

  • Assisting with meals, snacks and hydration

  • Supporting individual feeding needs where required

  • Encouraging positive social interaction and communication

  • Helping learners transition calmly between activities

  • Supporting emotional regulation during a busy part of the day

  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive and sensory-aware environment


Who We’re Looking For

You may have experience in:

  • SEN settings (PMLD, complex needs, SEMH)

  • Care, education or support roles

  • Supporting individuals with additional needs during mealtimes

You are:

  • Patient, kind and observant

  • Calm under pressure and emotionally attuned

  • Respectful of dignity, choice and independence

  • Happy working in an outdoor and farm setting

Experience is helpful, but the right attitude and compassion matter most.
