Midday Supervisor – Lunchtime Support
Supporting Young People Aged 16–25 with PMLD, Complex Needs & SEMH
We are looking for a caring, calm and reliable Midday Supervisor to support our learners during lunchtime in a farm-based, outdoor and alternative learning environment.
This role is vital in helping young people feel safe, supported and regulated during mealtimes and unstructured parts of the day.
About the Role
As a Midday Supervisor, you will support learners during lunch by:

Assisting with meals, snacks and hydration

Supporting individual feeding needs where required

Encouraging positive social interaction and communication

Helping learners transition calmly between activities

Supporting emotional regulation during a busy part of the day

Maintaining a safe, inclusive and sensory-aware environment
Who We’re Looking For
You may have experience in:

SEN settings (PMLD, complex needs, SEMH)

Care, education or support roles
-
Supporting individuals with additional needs during mealtimes
You are:

Patient, kind and observant
-
Calm under pressure and emotionally attuned
-
Respectful of dignity, choice and independence
-
Happy working in an outdoor and farm setting
Experience is helpful, but the right attitude and compassion matter most.
