GSL Education are seeking a Computer Science (CS) Teacher for schools in Doncaster (DN2, DN6) who can make coding, computing, and digital literacy exciting and accessible.
This role is ideal for a CS Teacher who wants to inspire problem-solving, creativity, and logical thinking in students while preparing them for a rapidly evolving digital world.
Your Role as a CS Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons in programming, algorithms, data handling, and computing theory.
- Encourage practical, hands-on learning that develops problem-solving and coding skills.
- Support students of all abilities to build confidence in technology and digital literacy.
- Create a structured, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to monitor progress and enhance learning outcomes.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Computer Science or related subjects desirable
- Enthusiastic, creative, and student-focused approach
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for technology and preparing students for the digital future
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
