Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are recruiting a Geography Teacher to work within schools based in Doncaster, covering the DN2 and DN6 districts, delivering engaging lessons that help pupils explore physical and human geography while developing essential analytical skills.

As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and teach structured lessons, support students in interpreting maps and data, and create an encouraging classroom environment where learners can confidently investigate geographical topics.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons that cover key geographical concepts and skills.
  • Guide students in developing analytical and research abilities.
  • Provide constructive feedback to help pupils improve.
  • Maintain effective behaviour management and a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the wider curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience delivering as a Geography Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to supporting learners of all abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
