Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a History Teacher to work in schools situated within Doncaster, covering the DN2 and DN6 areas, delivering engaging lessons that develop pupils’ understanding of key historical concepts and promote analytical thinking.
As a History Teacher, you will plan and deliver well-structured lessons, guide students in exploring historical periods and events, and create a positive learning environment where curiosity and critical thinking are encouraged.
Main Responsibilities:
- Teach history through clear and engaging lessons.
- Support students in developing analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve pupil progress.
- Maintain effective behaviour management and a focused learning space.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the wider curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and experience delivering as a History Teacher.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to supporting learners of different abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
