Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to be recruiting a Drama Teacher to join schools located within Sheffield’s S35 district, delivering engaging lessons that encourage pupils to explore performance, storytelling, and confidence‑building activities.

As a Drama Teacher, you will plan and deliver practical lessons, guide students in developing their acting, improvisation, and stagecraft skills, and create an inclusive environment where creativity thrives.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Teach structured and interactive drama lessons.
  • Support pupils in building confidence and collaborative skills.
  • Provide constructive feedback to enhance performance and understanding.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning space.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the wider arts curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience delivering as a Drama Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to nurturing student creativity.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
