Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Do you enjoy helping students explore their creativity and develop artistic skills as an Art Teacher?
GSL Education are hiring an Art Teacher to work within schools across Sheffield, serving the S35 region, delivering engaging lessons that inspire creativity and self‑expression.
As an Art Teacher, you will plan and deliver stimulating lessons, support pupils in developing their artistic techniques, and foster an environment where imagination and confidence can flourish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured and inspiring Art lessons.
- Guide students in experimenting with a variety of media and techniques.
- Provide constructive feedback to support pupil progress.
- Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom conducive to creativity.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the wider curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering as an Art Teacher.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to supporting learners’ creative development.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
