Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are recruiting a Maths Teacher to work within schools located in Sheffield’s S35 area, delivering lessons that make mathematical concepts engaging and accessible.

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will plan structured lessons, support pupils across different abilities, and create a positive environment where problem-solving and analytical thinking are encouraged.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clear and engaging maths lessons.
  • Support students in developing problem-solving and numerical skills.
  • Provide constructive feedback to help pupils improve.
  • Use effective behaviour management to maintain a focused classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematics and experience teaching as a Maths Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to supporting learners of varying abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
