Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are appointing an English Teacher to work within schools across Sheffield, particularly in the S35 district, delivering lessons that encourage confidence, creativity, and clear expression.
As an English Teacher, you will plan structured lessons, support pupils of mixed abilities, and create a positive learning environment where language and literature are brought to life.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons focused on reading, writing, and spoken language.
- Support pupils with comprehension, vocabulary development, and written work.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to support progress.
- Maintain a calm and purposeful classroom using effective behaviour strategies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering as an English Teacher.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to supporting learners of varying abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
