Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are working with schools in Sheffield (S11) to seek a History Teacher who can bring the past to life and ignite curiosity in every student.

This role suits a History Teacher who enjoys sparking discussion, encouraging critical thinking, and helping students understand the world through the lens of history.

Your Role:
You’ll deliver engaging lessons that explore historical events, cultures, and ideas. Encouraging analysis, debate, and thoughtful reflection, you’ll guide students to understand the relevance of history and its impact on today’s society.

What We’re Looking for in a History Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching history is desirable
  • Ability to make historical topics accessible and exciting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, student-focused, and adaptable
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
