Are you the kind of Computer Science Teacher who enjoys turning complex ideas into clear, practical understanding?
Schools in Sheffield (S11) are working with GSL Education to look for someone who can bring computing to life and help students build skills that matter beyond the classroom.
This role suits a Computer Science (CS) Teacher who values problem-solving, logical thinking, and real-world application as much as technical knowledge.
Your Focus on This Role:
Rather than just delivering content, you’ll help students understand why computing matters. From algorithms and coding to digital literacy, you’ll encourage curiosity, resilience, and independent thinking in a structured and supportive environment.
What We’re Looking for in a CS Teacher:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Computer Science or related subjects
- Confident delivery of programming and computing concepts
- Calm, organised classroom approach
- Enthusiasm for technology and student progress
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
What’s On Offer for a CS Teacher:
- Daily rates of up to £220, depending on experience
- Flexible supply opportunities to fit your schedule
- Well-resourced schools with supportive teams
- Immediate starts available
- A role that helps prepare students for a digital future
If you’re a CS Teacher who enjoys building skills, confidence, and curiosity in young people, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and help shape the next generation of digital thinkers.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing an application for a new check.
As an ethical, inclusive and independent recruitment agency, GSL Education are committed to providing quality teaching and support staff in schools across the UK.
