GSL Education is looking for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse to join our supply team, supporting a friendly and well run nursery in Chelmsford. This is a brilliant opportunity to enjoy variety, flexibility, and rewarding early years work — without being tied to one permanent role (unless you want to be!).
About the Role
As a Supply Nursery Nurse, you’ll step into a welcoming nursery environment and play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. Whether you’re covering short-term absences or longer placements, you’ll be making a real difference every day.
What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting children aged 0–5 in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating setting

Delivering fun, play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework

Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and physical development

Supporting daily routines such as meals, nap times, and outdoor play
-
Working as part of a friendly team to maintain a happy, well-organised nursery
What We’re Looking For

Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)

Recent experience in a nursery or early years setting
-
A warm, energetic, and caring approach

Confidence working in new environments
-
A genuine passion for early childhood development

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
