Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time

GSL Education are recruiting an enthusiastic English Teacher to support pupils’ literacy and communication skills within a secondary school in York.

English Teacher Responsibilities

Teach English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4.

Deliver engaging and structured lessons.

Assess progress and support exam preparation.

Promote positive behaviour and high expectations.

Support whole-school literacy initiatives.
Requirements
-
QTS with English specialism.

Experience teaching secondary English.

Strong communication and organisation skills.

Passion for inclusive education.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
