About the Role:
As an Unqualified Teacher, you will assist in delivering lessons and supporting students’ learning under the guidance of qualified staff. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on teaching experience while making a meaningful contribution to students’ academic development and personal growth.
Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons tailored to students’ needs.
- Assist in creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and support students in maintaining focus.
- Assist students with additional learning needs and provide one-to-one support when required.
- Encourage student participation in learning activities and promote confidence in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational, support, or care setting is desirable.
- A passion for teaching and working with young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive approach to supporting students.
- Willingness to learn and develop teaching skills on the job.
