Salary: £460 – £600 per week

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students’ learning and development. You will assist with classroom activities, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help implement strategies to meet individual educational plans. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with SEN.
Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and implementing individual learning plans.
- Assist students with SEN in one-to-one or small group settings.
- Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom activities.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Observe, monitor, and report on student progress and behaviour.
- Support the development of social, emotional, and communication skills alongside academic learning.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a SEN or educational support role is preferred.
- Understanding of SEN needs and evidence-based support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, adaptable, and able to meet the needs of individual students.
- Ability to follow structured support plans and work collaboratively with staff.
