English Teacher
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £120 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to work within supportive secondary schools across Newcastle upon Tyne. The Role:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).

Support students of varying abilities in reading, writing, and literacy development.

Assess, monitor, and track student progress in line with school policies.

Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.

Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school teams.

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.

Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.

An engaging, professional, and proactive teaching approach.

A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
