Maths Teacher
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £120 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to work in supportive secondary schools across Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality mathematics teaching and supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes.
The Role:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).

Support students of mixed abilities to make sustained progress.

Assess, track, and report on student attainment in line with school policies.

Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.

Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school staff.

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting.

Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.

A proactive, professional, and engaging teaching style.

A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
