Role: Sports Coach
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Salary: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Sports Coaches to support schools across Barnsley (S70, S71). This is an exciting opportunity for a Sports Coach who is passionate about physical activity, teamwork, and helps students develop confidence and sporting skills.
What to Expect in This Sports Coach Role:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive sports sessions across a range of year groups.
- Support students in developing skills, fitness, and teamwork.
- Encourage positive attitudes, participation, and sportsmanship.
- Help maintain a safe, fun, and well-organised environment for all students.
- Work closely with school staff to assist with lesson delivery and student progress.
Requirements for This Sports Coach Role:
- Previous experience in sports coaching, teaching, or working with children is desirable.
- A passion for sport and physical activity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
- Professional, enthusiastic, and proactive approach.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
