Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Worksop (S81)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type - Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are supporting schools throughout Worksop, including those in the S81 postcode, to appoint a Geography Teacher who promotes critical thinking and curiosity in the classroom.

As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and deliver structured learning that develops map skills, geographical enquiry, and a clear understanding of physical and human geography.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clear and engaging lessons covering a range of geographical topics.
  • Encourage pupils to analyse data, use maps effectively, and think critically.
  • Create a positive classroom environment that supports active learning.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support pupil progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering as a Geography Teacher.
  • Effective classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive teaching and safeguarding responsibilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
