Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Worksop (S81)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day Supply
Are you confident, adaptable, and comfortable leading a classroom when regular teaching staff are unavailable?
GSL Education are appointing Cover Supervisor to work across schools in Worksop, particularly within the S81 district, offering flexible opportunities for a Cover Supervisor to help maintain learning continuity during short‑term absences.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will oversee pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure pupils remain focused and engaged throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes using work provided by teaching staff.
- Maintain a calm, orderly, and respectful learning environment.
- Encourage pupils to stay on task and complete set activities.
- Follow school policies, routines, and safeguarding procedures.
- Provide brief feedback to staff on pupil engagement when required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people, or a relevant degree-level qualification.
- Confidence managing behaviour and communicating clearly in the classroom.
- Flexibility and reliability when working across different school settings.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- The ability to step into the role of Cover Supervisor with professionalism and initiative.
